A Time of Trepidation, Pirates, and Lost Princesses- Celebration Date

I don't know about you guys, but I have been greatly anticipating today because today is the day I send the ever troublesome sequel to A Week of Werewolves, Faeries, and Fancy Dresses back into the big wide world after one of the most painful rewriting processes I have ever had the misfortune to live through.

But it's through. I'm done. I did it and now I am FREEEEEEE!!!! *cough* and also you can continue the series and find out what happens after the literal cliffhanger ending of book one. I am deeply repentant about that btw.

Not really, but still...

Also, to add to the celebration, today is Easton's birthday. Happy birthday, Easton, Mommy is sorry for everything she did to you in both book one and book two.

But anyway, the moment I am sure that you have all been looking forward to. The ebook is LIVE! The paperback will be going live very soon if it hasn't already.

After surviving a week trapped in the magical world of Amar; Chelsea, Easton, Clint, and Bobby are still no closer to accomplishing the mysterious quest that binds them to Amar. In a desperate attempt to figure out what this quest is, they decide to follow the instructions of an ominous book of poetry that was written over seven hundred years ago. Inside this book are several mysterious, almost prophetic poems that tell of four heroes who are the only ones who can save Amar from a dark fate. The poems also warn that one of the four will betray the other three, one will be left behind, and one will die.

Full of trepidation over what these poems could mean for them all, Chelsea and her friends journey to the Bextian Sea where they must find a golden amulet that has the potential to finally reveal what this quest is. Alas, nothing goes according to plan and Chelsea must soon find a way to survive a savage mermaid attack, a vengeful pirate king, and a sudden declaration of love from her childhood friend. All added to the stress of being trapped in a magical world, and the worry that these foreboding poems might actually be prophecies foretelling the future of her and her friends.

Also I did a thing...

I drew a picture of all my main characters from my series taking place in Amar. You already know of My Time in Amar and Return to Amar but the adventures in Amar don't end when Chelsea's and Alicia's do. There are going to be four series set in and around Amar. My Time in Amar is the only one that is going to be actually four books long, all the rest are going to be duologies.

I have already published the first two My Time in Amar books as well as book one of Return to Amar my Alice in Wonderland retelling. I hope to publish My Time in Amar book three and the final Return to Amar book early next year (my goal is January and March respectively), and then publish the fourth My Time in Amar book late 2020.

After book four comes Fake Magic the first book in Far From Amar a Wizard of Oz/Wicked retelling that takes place in the mysterious fourth realm and stars some beloved characters from the previous series. Next is Remember Amar book one Forget to Remember You, which is going to be an amnesia story line that takes place partially on Earth as well as returning to the Bextian Sea and some characters that you are going to meet in Time of Trepidation. Then comes Far From Amar book two, False Heroes where one of the four may or may not return to try to help these unlikely main characters survive. Finally we reach the end with Remember to Forget Me, in which I at last delve more deeply into who the Knights of Amar are, the order that Chelsea's and Easton's dads served while on their quest.

And there will be crossovers. Which is why My Time in Amar three absolutely has to release before Return to Amar two because... spoilers ;P

So as a last summation, since I know this might be a little hard to keep track of this is the order my books take place in:

A Week of Werewolves, Faeries, and Fancy Dresses (My Time in Amar book one)
A Time of Trepidation, Pirates, and Lost Princesses (My Time in Amar book two)
A Certain Sort of Madness (Return to Amar book one)
A Season of Subterfuge, Courtiers, and War Councils (My Time in Amar book three)
A Matter of Curiosity  (Return to Amar book two)
An Era of Evil, Dragons, and Dark Lords (My Time in Amar book four)
Fake Magic (Far From Amar book one)
Forget to Remember You (Remember Amar book one)
False Heroes (Far From Amar book two)
Remember to Forget Me (Remember Amar book two)

And there you have it, keep an eye out for more Amarian updates and announcements in the weeks to come. I'm going to be trying to speed write A Season of Subterfuge in the months of September and October so that should be fun.

Don't forget to grab your copy of Time of Trepidation in the meantime.

  5. WHAT!!!! WHAT!!!! CONGRATS GIRL!!!!

I love how many books you have to come in this world. It allows you to write about new and different characters while doing so in an already established beautiful world.

And your artwork of your characters is beautiful!

(and Easton writers are never sorry, lol)

Thanks, it all started when I realized with My Time in Amar four would be the last book in Ama r so I decided to do Far From Amar and then Remember Amar jumped on the band wagon. And of course technically it doesn't all take place on Amar there are the other three realms to consider XD

Thank you!!! It certainly took me a little while to do but I think it turned out nicely

(Don't listen to her Easton! If course I am sorry)
