An Era of Evil Dragons and Dark Lords Cover Reveal

So FUNNY story, I somehow accidentally bought a cover for An Era of Evil, Dragons, and Dark Lords more than a year before I'm planning to release it (December of 2023, baby). How does one "accidentally" buy a cover? You may be asking. It's a valid question, I'll give you that.

Well, it all started with the fact that both Week of Werewolves' and Time of Trepidation's covers were bough premade (meaning that they were already designed and I bought them from the creator, had a few changes to the coloring made, and then slapped it on my books). Season of Subterfuge was custom made, and that was my original plan with book 4 to have it custom made by the same person. But old habits die hard and anytime I checked out a Premade website I always kept an eye out for a cover for Era of Evil that would fit with the idea that I had and look good with my other covers.

Anyway, so I was looking at this Premade site and they just had the most gorgeous covers. None of them quite fit for Era of Evil, but they had a suggestion box. For those of you who are not sure what that is, it's something that a few Premade companies do where they let authors suggest a style that would work with their book. The Premade designer then if they like the idea and it tickles their fancy will make something. They'll then offer it to the author first and if the author likes it, they buy it. If not, the designer will put it up in their Premade shop so others can purchase it. I've been very curious about this concept ever since I discovered its existence. So, on a whim, I put in some cover concept ideas I had for Era of Evil. Since this was such a selective process, usually depending on if it inspires the designer or not, I didn't really expect to hear back from them for some months. If at all.

I wasn't expecting them to contact me that day and tell me they'll have a draft for me in one week. Nor did I expect the design to be one of the singular most beautiful things I had ever seen.

So there you have it.

That there folks. That's how you accidentally buy a cover.

But now I'm sure that you are tired of my prattling and want to see what all the fuss is about.

 It's time to start scrolling...

Ahhhhhhhh! I'm still definitely screaming over this. It's probably my favorite cover of the series. It was designed by GetPremades. You should go check out their site (but be careful around suggestion boxes, it turns out that they are scarily efficient).

There's no blurb yet, because yeah, I wasn't planning on having the cover so soon. But it was really too beautiful not to share.
You can add it to your Goodreads though.

And there you have it folks.

12.??.23

In the meantime you can catch up on the rest of the series. Books two and three are currently on sale for only $0.99 cents. You can order them here!

P.S. Don't forget to Pre-Order your copy of Harbinger of the End
